Samsung Server Memory

Samsung makes both the DRAM and the finished server module. That is why so many HPE, Dell, Cisco and Supermicro machines ship with Samsung sticks inside: the chip and the module come from the same place.

We supply Samsung DDR4 and DDR5 server memory across the capacities and speeds these systems actually use. Quote by the part number on the label, or by capacity, speed and module type if you do not have the exact number yet.

DDR4 and DDR5 Samsung DDR4 registered modules commonly start with M393A for RDIMM and M386A for LRDIMM. DDR5 registered modules commonly start with M321R. Those prefixes tell you the generation and the module type before you even open a datasheet.

The range covers the usual server sizes: 16GB and 32GB for everyday builds, then 64GB, 96GB and 128GB when the machine needs denser memory. Speeds follow what the platform supports, from older DDR4 rates through current DDR5.

How to order If the sticker is readable, send the full Samsung part number. If not, send capacity, speed and whether you need a RDIMM or an LRDIMM. Mixed lists are fine. We will quote what fits, and note which lines are ready to ship.

  •       DRAM and module from Samsung
  •       DDR4: M393A RDIMM, M386A LRDIMM
  •       DDR5: M321R RDIMM
  •       16GB through 128GB
  •       Quote by part number or by specification
  •       Used in HPE, Dell, Cisco and Supermicro servers

Samsung is one of the three manufacturers behind most enterprise server memory. When you need that brand specifically, or when a build has to match Samsung modules already installed, send the list and we will quote from there.
